Backseat Games

Backseat Games is an indie Gamedev collective based in Italy, born from a large group of friends from an Academy of Visual Arts and New Media, all connected by our passion for videogames.

We’re a bunch of artists, programmers, designers and musicians, with different backgrounds and tastes. That’s why under the name Backseat Games you’ll find anything, from cozy games to crazy shooters, from interactive stories to cosmic horror: it’s all part of our different identities.

 Whether it’s a group project, a jam entry or just a random fever dream, we’ll be there testing each other’s builds, hyping each other up and fixing bugs we discover 3 minutes before the deadlines.

SO, WHY BACKSEAT GAMES?

It all started with a big group of twelve people making projects together for the Global Game Jam. It then evolved into smaller creative groups with different ideals and ambitions, all helping each other out… and straight up backseating each other's projects on Discord.
